Don’t be daunted by difficulty.



Running is hard. Fitness takes fortitude. OK, I’m preaching to the choir here. If you run, you know it. If you work out, you could write the book on how hard it is.

Maybe sweat makes us stronger, but sometimes it hurts before it helps. How’s that for a set-up for today is “Running Quotes by Non-Runners.” entry?

O’Connor was a Southern Gothic writer, who battled lupus for at least a dozen years, while raising exotic birds. Although she wasn’t a runner, she definitely understood facing daunting difficulties.
